If you don't mind the music at night (they provide with earplugs) this is a great hotel. Clean, pretty, nice half indoor pool, decent roof top, very kind staff. Super location.
I give this hotel 10 out of 10. No where is perfect but for the price and location you can not beat it. The negative reviews I read said small room, loud noise, hotel staff steals. First compared to the average room in the U.S. it is a tiny bit smaller but who cares? If you came here to stay in your room pay more money and get a bougie room. This place has everything you need. Comfy bed. Hot water. Flushable toilet (If you know anything about Mexico this is a PLUS!!!). AC. Pool. Walking distance to everything. Super nice and catering staff. As a general rule don't leave valuables out in the open. Lock them in the safe that's provided. That's is world wide rule. In saying that, no one stole anything from me. Also this hotel is on the main strip. Don't expect quite. If you want quite stay in a resort. Turn on the AC and you will sleep like a baby. Most people complaining are Karen's. If I had to say anything negative it would be there is no elevator...not disability friendly. Also, and I'm just being extra, I would love a little more light for the bathroom mirror.
Positive points: Hotel is very beautiful and room was very clean and comfortable. Staffs in reception were very nice and helpful. Pool is also very nice but quite small. Negative points: It's very close to the main street and too noisy at night as you can hear music from bars until 3am. So if you are looking for a quiet place at night this is not a suitable place for you. Also no elevator if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor you need to carry luggages to those floors.
Very friendly staff and well situated for the nightlife. If you intend to sleep a night, bring your earmuffs as its close to not one, but two discotecs.

We visited Hotel Kinbe for 10 days as a group. The hotel is well presented, very central and relatively quiet (for the location). Rooms are comfortable, well maintained but simple. Reception are attentive and super friendly.
A lovely boutique hotel in the perfect location in Playa Del Carmen. A one minute walk from the beach, one minute walk from Zenzi Beach restaurant, adjacent to the brand new Starbucks, and right off of Fifth Avenue. The location of this hotel could not be more ideal, although this also means it comes with a bit of noise at night. The staff is as friendly as can be, and truly care about their guests! The hotel is beautifully decorated, and has a pleasant ambiance. The cleaning staff does an impeccable job.
